Pillar 01 · 8-Week Cohort

Rebuilder Circle

— recovery, in good company

A small group of 6–8 professionals, meeting weekly for 8 weeks. Honest conversations, trained facilitators, real change. Not therapy. Community with a purpose.

What it is

A room of people who get it, every week.

A Rebuilder Circle is the kind of small, structured conversation that almost never happens in tech. You're placed in a group with 6–8 professionals at similar career stages, facing similar pressures. You meet for 90 minutes, once a week, for 8 weeks. The group stays together — same people, same time, same room (or same Zoom).

A trained Reboot facilitator anchors the conversation, so the time isn't wasted on small talk or one-upmanship. Your only job is to show up and tell the truth.

"It was the first place I admitted out loud that I hadn't been okay for a year. By week 8, three of us were texting daily."

How it works

Eight weeks. Built in arcs.

01

Week 1 · Land

Introductions, group agreements, and a structured check-in. By the end of session one you'll know everyone's name, role, and the version of burnout they're carrying. No pressure to share what you're not ready for.

02

Weeks 2–4 · Name it

Guided exercises help you map your own warning signs — the patterns, the triggers, the lies you've been telling yourself about why this is fine. You'll start to see your situation clearly, often for the first time.

03

Weeks 5–7 · Rebuild

Small experiments with boundary-setting, recovery practices, and conversations you've been avoiding. Each week you bring back what worked, what didn't, and what surprised you. The group holds you accountable without judgment.

04

Week 8 · Commit

Final session: each person leaves with a written, personal "Reboot agreement" — your own rules for sustainable performance, written in language only you would use. Most circles stay in touch long after the official 8 weeks end.

Who it's for

Designed for people still showing up — and starting to wonder how much longer they can.

This is for you if…

  • You're a tech professional (engineer, designer, PM, founder, exec) carrying signs of burnout you've been ignoring.
  • You've tried solo recovery — apps, books, the occasional therapist — and want something with more accountability.
  • You're skeptical of "wellness," and want straight talk with people in similar roles.
  • You can commit to ~10 hours over 8 weeks. (1.5 hr/session + a little prep.)
  • You're willing to be honest in a small room. That's the whole job.

This isn't for you if…

  • You're in acute crisis — please reach out to a clinical therapist or your country's mental health resources first.
  • You want clinical therapy. Rebuilder Circles are peer-led, not therapeutic.
  • You can't commit to attending the same group weekly. Continuity is what makes circles work.
  • You want anonymity. We're confidential, but you'll be seen by 5–7 other people.
Frequently asked

The questions we hear most.

We match based on career stage, industry, and the kind of support you said you want. We avoid putting direct managers and reports together. Every cohort is intentional — no random Zoom rooms.
Yes. Every circle opens with a confidentiality agreement. What's shared stays in the room. Facilitators are also bound by it.
Both. We run city-based circles (San Francisco, New York, Austin to start) and fully virtual circles for everyone else. You pick when you apply.
Founding cohort pricing during waitlist is sliding-scale, $0–$300 for the full 8 weeks. We never want cost to be the reason someone doesn't get help — there's always a free seat per circle.
Life happens. Missing one is fine. Missing more than two breaks the group's continuity, so we'll talk about whether to roll you into the next cohort. The group dynamic is what makes it work.
Reboot facilitators are trained in group dynamics, hold either a clinical background or significant peer-support experience, and have personally walked through burnout recovery. They are not your therapist — they're the structure that lets the group do its work.
